Yep, since I bought my S10, I'm selling the TSTE. I bought it with about 99K several years ago, it now has 106K and MANY new parts. It also has many quirks as well, which I will try to detail as much as possible. I posted this on W-body.com too, but I know there's a few here that no longer visit there, so I want to make this available to anyone.

Glamor Shots:

MANY more pics here:

Some videos:
Accelerating 20MPH- 60 MPH

Accelerating 0-40 MPH

Under hood with engine running, I also rev it up, but the BOV is hard to hear, but it really is loud, the camera just doesn't pick it up well

Exhaust tone stock exhaust, converter removed:

Basics:
1990 Grand Prix Turbo STE
106K miles
Located in Manhattan, Kansas. I will help deliver to any Kansas border if possible, or I'll pick you up at KC Airport, and you may drive it home.
Asking $2300 OBO.

The good:
- Catalytic converter removed in place of a straight pipe.
- Turbo XS RFL Blow off valve installed on factory TGP pipe.
- recently installed Addco rear swaybar. installed with brickyard monte inner brackets, and greasable poly outer end links.
- Fresh tune up including plugs (Delco Rapid Fire), wires, and GM oxygen sensor
- crossover pipe DOES NOT appear to be leaking, but is the original.
- recent 94+ rear brake upgrade
- almost new Duralast Gold battery
- I have a set of brand new Dunlop Sport A2+ tires at work ready to install, They will come installed on the car for the buyer.
- no rips in seats, but some stains.
- TG160 Chip, K&N filter
- Auto trans shifts great w/overdrive.
- Factory Sunroof works perfect
- A/C still blows COLD, and it is the old R-12 refrigerant.
- Freshly painted (by me) front valence. It really looks great, I went though all of the proper steps to painting it properly.
- I will include the stock wheels with the car ( what do I need em for?)
- I do have everything need to install a 5 speed trans except for the axles, and flywheel. This includes ~100K mile 282 trans, console, ECM Prom, Firewall plate w/pedals.
- probably more, but that's all I can think of for now. I will include this with the car for an additional $400 over agreed selling price
- I have ALL of the maintenance records for the car since I have owned it saved in Microsoft Access. I can paste it to Excell and E-mail it to anyone who wishes to see the details.

The bad/not so good:
- small (pencil eraser) chip in windshield, not spiderwebbing at all. Has been there since I bought the car.
- pain on hood, roof, and trunk is oxidized and not shiney at all. I would bet it is a macco paint job, I have tried to wax to no avail. but at least the paint is not chipping to primer like many other GMs of the era.
- ABS light comes on intermittently, pump motor will still run, but I cannot scan codes on it for some reason. I do have a spare ABS module I will include with the car. I have not tested it to see if it solves the problem.
- Speedo & Tach on cluster will stop working intermittently. All other gauges work fine, and DIC still displays correct average speed. I will include an intested spare cluster with the car (116K miles, I was waiting to installl until the miles on the car would be accurate with the cluster. This problem happens MAYBE once every 4 months of driving, it is NOT a common problem, but I don't want a buyer to be taken by surprise.
- rear headliner starting to fall
- gas cap spring is broken, I tried to install a new spring but broke it installing. So the gas cap is held shut with 2 button magnets, it seems to work OK.
- Factory CD player was replaced by the previous owner with a pontiac tape deck. The rear channel subs cut out OCCASIONALLY.
- some rust on the hood near right hood vent (pictured in link) but this is the only rust on the car.
- Seems to idle rough when starting, but this is after 2 weeks sitting, afterwards it starts fine.
-lumbar support pump on seats does not work, all of the other adjustments work OK though.
Dome light does not light up when opening driver's door, I have diagnosed it to be in the door latch. the DIC still knows the door is open, but the dome light module does not. I get around this by setting the security lighting to keep the lights on for 10 seconds after shut off.
- paint chips on front bumper
- rear taillight harness allows wires to move around, so some lights don't work occasionally. A junkyard harness connector would fix this for cheap. I was planning on just soldering the wires together. The DIC alerts you to when a light is not working.

I really only used the car for cruising, but have used it as a daily driver for a week at a time occasionally, and it does great. It just has a few quicks here & there, the ABS light would be solved by the 5 speed swap.

I will add other info if I think of it.

Can take other pics upon request.
Any questions may be replied here, please PM about price details if interested. I would like to keep questions specific to the car within this open forum, so all may read my reply.

THANKS FOR LOOKING.
I REALLy want this car to go to an enthusiast, so I am not planning on selling locally (in town, in the newspaper, etc). I will probably list on Ebay in 2 weeks.

with any luck my Cutty should be gone tomarrow; hopefully selling it to a local freind who is crazy about the car.  i let him test drive it a few weeks ago and he was laughing the whole time; i think he fell in love with it lol  we'll see though; if it all works out i'm on the hunt for a replacement car.

i'm still really thinking about it, although i just bought a '92 Olds Trofeo 3 days ago (don't know if you seen my thread in the 'other cars' section - i bought it about an hour after i sold my Cutlass haha).  i just kinda fell for the car and had to have it and the price was right.  i still have a chunk of money left over after selling the Cutty and buying the Trofeo, although it would now take me a little longer to get the full amount together to get your TSTE.  that's the ONE W-body that i've always wanted BAD.  i really should use the money to pay off student loans, but thankfully i'm just now starting to get alot more hours at work so that will help alot.  i'll keep you informed, believe me i'd love to have the car!  it might just have to wait until later this spring or so.  hopefully it's still around!
