the turn signal switch has issues (they work but there is a trick to them. Common problem with these vehicles

:?  I've never heard of this.... I've only been around w-bodies for a year and a half or so, but I have yet to hear if a turn signal issue with a trick to it, so it can't be that common...

or am I missing something?

yeah it sort of is, turn signal switch went bad, and you have to hit the right spot with the lever and hold it there to make it work.  Been there, done that

lol yeah, my Lumina had that signal problem for probably a good 7 months.  It didn't bother me and I replaced one of the flasher fuses and it solved the problem(for about a week anyway)

It drove my dad nuts though, so he paid to get me a new one put in.  I didn't complain either way lol
