For those who are into photography and are thinking of upgrading your old Rebel XT, or those who are interesting in 1080p HD video capabilities with awsome lenses... under $1000!

I personally don't care about video enough to spend extra money for it, but the fact that it (presumably) has image quality as good as the 50D for less money has me re-thinking what my next camera will be.

nice, but i cant afford it. even thought it would be awesome to havevideo with my lenses and shit... video with a lensbaby would make for some psychedelic adventures....

little late in the game but dayum... i really miss the ability to record video with my camera now that i have the Rebel XS but at least the bag is big enough i can carry my powershot A520 in there as well haha

You miss video?  The thing I missed most at first was no live view! lol  At least I can shoot 5ftp now with my 30D.  :twisted:

I would still go with a 50D. (Or even a 40D for that matter).  Nothing against the Rebels, they take pictures just fine, but the 20/30/40/50D's controls and much faster to use, and they are better built cameras.  Hell just wait for the 60D sometime next year, it's definatly GOTTA have video!
