Napa has them. They're called monoleaf pads or something of the sort. $20.

Please read it all before responding. My local napa has an error and the part I'm looking for is labeled as the bushings for the middle of the leaf.
I just need the part number for them please

What does this thing look like? The part that even chris' number goes to is apparantly wrong too! They keep showin me two plastic blocks and say I need a set for both sides, they look JUST like the ones in the middle of the leaf where its held to the underside of the car.

Bump

Oh and does anyone else think I might just need this kit pictured before and instead of getting 2 boxes, just get one and put one under either side of the leaf. After staring at the pictures and getting drunk I came to the conclusion that the pieces I'm looking at don't fit the middle of the leaf either

There would not be any sliding in the center of the spring only on the ends.

It requires two parts rubbing past each other to make noise.
So yes that is the right part. The hard plastic is probably nylon and will last longer than the rubber.

thank you captain obvious.

seriously dude, i need positive or helpful feedback, not someone saying it "should" be the right part, because if you look at them, they are completely different. like a 5 and a M. its just two different parts.
and vibration can also cause noise too chief.

BUT i have figured out the problem, those plastic pads are the right one, takes about 5 - 10 mins a side to replace. and the plastic ones DONT go on the monoleaf, instead they rest in the spindle now and the leaf rests on top of them.

the old ones i removed were sort of attached to the monoleaf, but only came into contact with the spindle.

as for the new ones? aint much but two little tabs and weight holding them in place, i guess thats a better design? i dunno.

Apparently it was Not so obvious to you. Designs sometimes change.
You were not really looking for feedback you were looking for someone to hold your hand.
Yeah trapped by assembly is one way to locate parts. The original parts were probably attached to the leaf as an off line sub assy step so the guy on the line did not have to handle the loose parts. It is often not about what make sense to you and I, but what makes sense on a high volume assy line. Why else would they have used the stupid engine cradle to load engine/trans assy from the bottom?

Wow dude, ur a dick.

Like seriously, you've never had a dumb problem that's escaped u till u actually got down and looked at it? The parts are completely different and by comparison look strikingly similar to those in the middle of the leaf. As for hold my hand? No. If someone here had been through this already what I was hoping for was someone second my opinion of how they go in before I tear my only car apart and according to the dealership, need a new ($900) leaf.
I'm not losing my car for a day over a 10 minute problem, when I step into something I want to make sure I'm doing things right with the right parts.
One thing u may notice too is that this problem is fixed, parts are installed and everything but you shit ass attitude towards other peoples need for help.

Maybe you don't know what a forum is for, but this is by far NOT the dumbest question here
So I've said it before and ill say it again, if ur not here to help stay out of my threads asshole!
