I want ideas here. I really want to get away from being like w-body. We have the whatever thread crap and all...Granted, it's all w-bodies but there's gotta be a way to be different.

I would buy another W. It have to be an up model tho. Like a Regal GS, or Cutlass Supreme International, I would get a TSTE/TGP again. I wouldnt go for another normal GP (maybe a 5 speed 2.8/3.1 SE) and I really wouldnt get a lumina.

I was just asking. And apparently, no...I did not leave. I came back to find out I wasn't banned after all, haha.
But anyway, this site is NOTHING like w-body IMO. Now, before any blood pressures rise...I didn't mean that in a negative way. It's calmer over here, not nearly as many(none at all actually) morons over here, it's more actually about the cars themselves rather than being held together fairly heavily by an Off Topic/Whatever section.

I haven't been to w-body in about 5 years now, so I can't say if I see a resemblance or not. All I remember from that site was everyone seemed to have a stick up their ass, lots of drama and bullshit. This place is very laid back and for the most part BS free...
I have some plans to add on to some things. I'd like to make a main page with a section for how-to's, FAQ's, photos, etc. When/if we go to SMF there's a bunch of mods I'd like to install on the board that will help make administration easier, along with certain posting functions and some other things.
And shit, for what it's worth I seem to keep buying freggin Luminas. I have my three Luminas now, ever since I got rid of the POS black one several years back I just seem to be getting more lately.

How about an S-10 section! (Well not really " " , I'm somewhat serious, seeing how the "S-10 Mods" thread has taken a life of its own, and how much we've been discussing them lately.) Agreed about W-Body.com. I was done with that place right after we had a Minnesota W-Body meet a couple of years ago. Between the import-loving douchenozzles and immature fuzz-nutted teenagers, I could stands no more. Too damn bad this place isn't as active as it was 2-3 years ago (I guess I'm somewhat to blame for that, as I was absent for a good 1 1/2 years.) We definitely had the cream of the W-Body.com crop posting over here in the beginning. I really like NAIOA.com, but alas, they're strictly all about IMPALAS and nothing but. I tried to cross-pollinate the Summer '07 Minnesota W-Body meet with some NAIOA members, but nobody on NAIOA wanted anything to do with the other W's.

Hey! Watch what you say about teenagers! I is one. Chris, I had some ideas for the website. Ever heard of Joomla? Its an easy to use dynamic website software. I created a website with it for my boyscout troop (though now it's just a home page because it got hacked) and it incorporated a main site, a forum, document management software, photo album, etc. It was a very nice community that was cohesive and everyone had access to pretty much everything. If you'd be interested in doing something like that Chris, let me know. I'm not computer inept

I'm running Dupral on one of my websites ( www.offroadmowers.com) and I absolutely hate it. I just haven't decided which flavor I like the best yet.
