I'll give you $500
And why did you take out the diffusers in the tails and put in shitty eBay LEDs? I have LEDs in my tail lights, but I kept the diffusers and modified my wiring harness to make my tails pimps.

Terrain yes that's it! And I cnt remember the brand of leds but they aint cheap ones, they have built in resistors so u don't need an led load level ballancer for the flasher (or one of the many other tricks) The diffusers just didn't look right with these bulbs, and I also sprayed the inside down with metallic red paint and some clear to brighten them up a cunt hair

If you paid more than $5 each, you got ripped off. Even at $5/ea you got ripped off. Those are shit China GEN1 LEDs in shit China housings. You couldn't give those to me and have them installed in anything I own. The LEDs bulbs I have in my Lumina cost $20/ea and have 11 GEN3 LEDs each. It wasn't cheap to install 10 of them, but they're amazing. The ones that I REALLY wanted were $50/ea and almost as bright as my low-beams, but I couldn't justify $500 for bulbs.

whats the difference? theyve been in there for like a year now and i havent had anything burn out, theyre bright enough that people dont pull up RIGHT behind me at red lights anymore and i think a year ago when i got them i paid like $12 a peice for them, keep in mind im in canada and everything is more expensive here. (even the GMPP trailing arms were like $80)

Check my threads for my LED upgrade - I have shitty videos posted... I'm working on that POS now so I'll have some HD videos in the future.

Yeah, GEN III LEDs and GEN I leds are like night and day (pun intended). One GEN III LED will outshine several GEN I LEDs. Better dispersion, brighter output, longer lasting... Yeah I've seen several different types of spider lights. Check out www.v-leds.com that's where I get all my stuff. They have some EPIC shit.

Check out www.v-leds.com that's where I get all my stuff. They have some EPIC shit. holy shit dude, some of those bulbs are like $87!! for a 3157 replacement! lol but it looks like for anything that isnt on clearance or sale its like $40 for a pair... mine were cheap, and theyre bright in the day or night... i think theyre staying in there till i sell this bitch and then if i get something nicer or newer maybe ill think about some of the dual colour ones for the front and some spiders for the back. lol Post Merge: October 14, 2010, 06:32:59 PM
i notice they also have LED replacements for Dash and Instrument Cluster lights. will they work with the dimmer switch do ya think?

Yeah, they're not cheap - but they're made in the US, excellent quality, and they're bright. Yes, the LEDs are dimmable, but not as drastically as normal incandescent bulbs

To be honest, I've never seen the point in dimming the dash lights. Seems like a completely useless feature.
