ya know, the interior is all that swayed me from buying this car, i really hated it. i still dont really love it like i did the buick, but im slowly making it warmer and more sexy. lol i re-painted the shifter plate today, pics later.

the lighting is kindof off here. its pretty smooth though for clear coat out of a can.
Step 1. Clean the crap out of it, HOT water and Mr Clean works.
Step 2. Dry the crap out of it, air compressor and towel works ok.
Step 3. Primer. Go easy on the first layer. 20 mins later, lay a thick layer on (careful not to let it run)
Step 4. Colour (if u you used self etching primer, if not... start sanding)
Step 5. Masking
Step 6. Black
Step 7. Unmask and clear. two or three coats should do. i find a thin layer to start works, it will look rough till you get a GOOD thick one on that ALMOST runs. like seriously, take some practice parts and just see how much it takes to make a run, and spray just about that much on in one coat. lots of people will say no no no, thin layers. i find this works BUT it leaves a rough surface. if you spray a THICK layer on it seems to smoothen out a lot better.
