LOL, that's what I call them too, "four seater" as pointed out by my friend, does sound lame! It's a 2 owner car, elderly owned for 15 years before we got it, 240K on what I'm told is the original 3.1!! It sure is a weirdly optioned car, but i hear a lot of early W's were. I  inlove the steering wheel, reminds me of the Buick T-Type line from the early to mid 80's.

i love quad buckets. makes me miss my regal. these cars are such comfy rides. soft seats and all the luxuries of most modern cars (with the exception of bluetooth and navigation, heated seats and steering wheels, traction control, airbags, and of course, aftermarket support. lol but damn are they fun to drive.

bought it for $850.

New:
Head gaskets
spark plugs, probably wires too, not sure
"dog bones"
battery
resonator and muffler
all 4 tires
brake pads all around


It needs:
both lower motor/tranny mounts
turn signal switch is worn out, I have NEVER heard of this failing on an early w-body, but then again, the car does have 245K on it. Having no airbag and no radio controls makes this easy as Hell to replace!!
power steering pump is VERY noisy
right rear strut rattles a lot, no idea what that could be
blower motor needs to be kicked every now and then to work
A/C to be recharged (eventually)

all in all, not bad at all for only paying what we did
