Cleaned it up a bit today. Didnt mess with vacuuming the interior carpet as it needs changed. Its still adriatic blue (hard to tell through the dirt) to the dark charcoal. Then just gotta redo the rear decklid and get the rear charcoal seatbelts.

Yeah, this was Venom's 95 CS, he has my 96 CS now.

Lots of pics!! Prolly gonna take me several posts because this forum doesnt like more than 5 pics to each post.

It's a Banana Split! lol

Did you do the GP dash swap just for the HUD?  I heard somewhere that the CS dash had the compartment for the HUD, as they were going to offer it in 95, but pulled it from the option list at the last minute.

Is that a 97-03 GP console I spy in there?

Welcome.

Yup, 97-03 console.

I didnt put the GP dash in here, but I did in my 96 CS I traded a w-body.com member for this one (good friend)

I was the first as far as I know to have put a GP dash in a CS to gain HUD and DIC

There is a 'pocket' in the CS dash after cutting it. but it would be a pain to make a custom dash cover for the CS. Its best just to swap the CS dash, plus it has a spot for the DIC.

No engine mods. Although 2 days after the trade, I obd2 swapped it so I can tune with HP Tuners like I did my 96. I had plenty done on my 96 engine wise to make it have some decent pep. Plus speed density OBD1.5 sucks. OBD2 MAF system runs much better and smoother.

If you look closely at my tablet, I have HP Tuners VCM Scanner pulled up, at the top it says "Chevy Lumina (V6) 1997" OBD2 FTW.

Oh, and the interior was orginally Adriatic Blue cloth

Except its slow as frozen piss. I forgot how slow stock 3100s are. That and the engine mount is aboot to break, warped rotors, leaks trans and coolant.. Well actually both of those seemed to have stopped leaking. I dunno how but theyve stopped for now.

Its actually just gonna end up a beater and nothing more. As soon as I get my GF a car more her sized, I will be driving our Impala full time and start modding the shit outta that.

I wont use the hydraulic ones, especially aftermarket.

Guess I will see what a solid one runs through them. If I was gonna really mod this car I would just spend the money and get ZZPs poly mount

But the Impala wants severe mods...mwahahaha

I still wanna mod the car, but ive been driving the Impala quite a bit lately and its grown on me. Overall the car is badass for what it really is, and the 3500 already has 216hp and a 3" FWI I put on it. Add in no huge ABS in the way and tons more room under the hood evil

It will get suspension mods out the ass first, prolly gonna run 20s on it, and 13" front brakes and 12" rear brakes.

Interior is gonna get changed from the column shift tan that is nasty stained to console shift dark charcoal leather.
