Detailed it and wrapped it for the winter.   I order up some new parts for this. New control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, new rear rotors, fuel sender, FFP dog bone bushings, and KYB strut and mounts. Hopefully that will keep me busy for a little while. Then maybe when I have the tank down I'd like to pull the rear mono-leaf frame and lateral arms and get all of that painted.

Well my poly bushing mods are done up front. Controls arms, sway bar bushing, and dog bone bushings. I also got the trans mount replaced. The car handles so much better now, and the throttle response has been greatly improved.
Next I'm going to do the KYB front struts. Then after that I need to do the rear sway bar and brakes.

It lives. Started right up with a flick of a key.  I've forgotten what it's like to drive a car with this much power. Plus it sounds amazing.  I've missed this car a lot.

Basically took this bumper cover I had around cleaned it all up. Filled in the rock chips and scrapes. Then I filled in the dimples for the front license plate bracket. Then I got it ready for paint. Kinda of a crappy pix, but...   hen today a ton of wet sanding and the first coat of primer. Tomorrow it will be ready for paint. Can't wait to see it with some color. My current bumper cover isn't the priest thing in the world. Has some spider webs going on and this is a good bumper. Plus it's much cheaper than paying a shop to do this.  I had rock chips in both of the "O"s in the Olds logo. After some careful bondo skills it turned out good.   Picture from last week.

 Nice close up shot of the license plate dimples gone in the bumper. I've put a lot of hours into the bumper. Make it ever so perfect. I'm still not done yet...lol

Haha, thanks man  That's it for the bondo. Tomorrow wetsand/primer and then color. Might wait till Sunday to paint it. I'm running low of gas in the garage. I don't think I'll have it warm enough to paint. Sunday should be near 60 so that will help. Won't take as much gas to warm it up to 80 from 60 then it does 40*.

Had some tint today. 20% around the back and 35% up front. Stupid tint laws.   I'm happy with the way it looks now. Better pic in the sun.
