Back to on topic...LoL! You guys get off topic sooooo easy around here!

I got a new shift boot made for the car. It's in charcoal suede and I actually like it! I have a Momo shift knob coming for it in the mail, so I'll probably have to make a new shift boot when that arrives. I really do need to shorten the shifter though. I'll get pics of the new boot and the $10 shift knob I got at the local parts store (nice quality, but the set screws stripped right off) in a few minutes.

LoL! Wow...I guess it would be my project thread and not a "discussion of parts" thread unless it's something to do with my car.

So yeah...ANYWAYS...I just washed the car with the self-serve car washes and it did practically nothing. I was hoping to give me new rust-free body parts and a brand new paint job with a 0-mile engine straight from GM, but that didn't happen. Instead I got a little of the mud off the tires and the inside of the fenders and got some of the crap off the body. Looks better I guess, but yeah. I also took some pics of the shift boot. They are horrible quality pics cuz it's from a phone and the flash made the suede look much lighter than it really is.

Don't mind my roommate's sexy leg...
