this is gonna be a fun one to over kill... im starting to think, dual trunk latches... maybe triple? i dunno.
either way tomorrow at work, 2 or more 1/2" bolts with a nice spacer place inside the trunk lid will hold the latch on again.

hahahha what the hell?!?! I've had subs in 2 of my Luminas and I've never had that problem. My trunk rattles like freaking hell, even after 2 layers of 5mil thick sound deadening - but I've never seen that happen!

the nuts tore right out of the frame of the lid. ive never heard of anything liek this happening either, let alone seen anything like this. best believe im proud. but also pissed off i had to fix it.
i bet im the only guy in the world with  2- 1x2x1/2" square holled spacers 2-1x1/2" carriage bolts 2- 1/2" flat washers 2- 1/2" lock washers 2- 1/2" nuts.
oh and i used locktite blue on the ends of the bolts, and locktite red under the nuts. (the red is harder to break lose but once broken it moves easier and the blue kindof makes things gummy the whole way.) lol i figured this should hold that shit good. i took the trunk lid off for a while and was pounding my bass with no lid. hahaha NO ONE would ride my ass.

but awesome!! and yeah it probably looked hilarious! two 12" IMPPs pounding in a nice ass bassworks box, LIKE CRAZY!!! hahaha trunk hinges sticking up and shit... lol well, at the very least i didnt worry about tail-gaiters.
