today kicked ass biggrin  i woke up at 11:30am, look out my window and see Dan cleaning his GTP.  oh fuck!  Tim, Dan and i were planning a meet at Devil's Tower and i slept in #-o  hopped in the shower and got ready, and then Dan and i went straight to Devil's Tower (about a 45 minute drive).  we met up with Tim there, and then went to this really small town called Hulett close by to get some food at a cafe (great food btw).  from there we took the highway to Spearfish, SD and headed to Tim's house so Dan and i could check out his FAST 2004 Turbo S2k and get some pics of our W-bodies.

just some scenery near Devil's Tower:

EDIT (see below)

from left to right...red, white & blue :smt023 , also from left to right, 2nd GEN, 1.5 GEN, 1st GEN, and biggest engine to smallest haha.  pretty cool pics...

Tim's badass Turbo S2000:

that S2k is by far the fastest car i have ever ridden in.  it got up to 90mph so damn fast it was scary

EDIT: i'm going to resize these pics then re-post them later...

oh yeah...on the way to Devil's Tower we hit a long straight-away and Dan floored it.  i floored it a couple seconds after i realized he did but by that time he had already gained some ground on me (and he was pretty far ahead of me to begin with).  he said he got up to 135mph before letting off   meanwhile i brought it up to 112mph in 4th, then shifted to 5th and the car easily got right up to 125mph and i let off.  i felt that 145mph wouldn't be much of a problem (not that i would try it).  i don't have the tires nor the suspension to be doing that shit !  but it was fun.  125mph is officially the fastest i've ever had the car.  the fastest i had ever gone before was 117mph but that was when the speed limiter was there and it took forever to get up there (it was still NA at the time).  when the car was NA i used to shift to 5th at ~100mph, i was surprised i actualy got up to 112mph before having to go to 5th!
