Aaron = Aaron
Taylor = Taylor

Aaron moved in with me and we did some work to his car.  He dig around in my parts bin, and since I don't need 4 spares for everything, I grudgingly let him have some stuff.  :twisted:

The trunk security switch came out of a 1993-1994 Oldsmobile 98 regency.  The 98 has it mounted in the glovebox.  I did the same mod to my gold car, but mounted the switch in a different location.  It just works as an interrupt between the button, and the solenoid.

Wait, I'm confused now . . .

Taylor = Taylor?

Start at the beginning please, there was Adam and Eve & a snake (not that kind of snake, the one that's not attached to a man's body) . . .

We will decide on who gets what when he gets back down here.  Part of me would like to put those Grand Prix 5-spokes back on the green car.  That car looked really good with them.

Yup, that?s something we need to sit down on, I was meaning IF I get them.

And for the record;

3100MPFI = Taylor
xLeGeNDx = Me (Aaron)

I know Rupert, It's all in good fun not like we have anything better to do then pick on each other  wink

Taylor does one heck of a job I will admit, my car still would look like ass without his help we have straightened out so many problems with this car it wasnt funny. Like when I got to Taylors he wanted to poke aroundd under the hood, well it turns out the serpintine belt was put on wrong and I didnt know it since I didnt have a little sticker that showed the routing of the belt, it fixxed my belt slipping squeal and oddly enough my ac/heat started blowing out the vents once again. only the air would come out the defroster vent on the dash no matter the setting.

Small update, Got a decent haul at the local pull yard.

1st on the list I wanted the quieter trunk release from the Aurora so I managed to find a 1999 Aurora out there.

Decided to go for the WHOLE release mechanism

Found some shiny new center caps (missed placed one of them its around the house)

Lumina Trunk switch installed for the time being

And the last 2 are of my 1999 Aurora Auto-dimming/compass mirror

Only 3 wires:
Pink - Hot in run
blk/wht - Ground
green - Reverse light signal

Installed and compass on
