Purchased this 91 Grand Prix GT today. Awesome car super clean. I can't wait to wash and wax it and do some of my own detailing to it. This car is damn near perfect for its age. No complaints from how it looks.

I can't get the glove box open. Previous owner said he had it open once or twice in the time he owned it. He cannot recall the combination. He did say the original manual and some other paper work is in there.

It runs great, shifts great. Everything works as it should. Going to get to fixing the power antenna soon here.

The tail lights are good. I haven't seen a set this clean in a while.

I love the seats in this car. They are very comfortable.

The owner said he put flowmaster mufflers on this car about 5 years ago. He couldn't recall what series.

Pretty much a fully loaded GT. Not sure if they got the DOHC. I think that was reserved only for the GTPs.

The PO re did the shelf. He said it was once black. But it has since faded. So I'll be looking for a new one. No wear and tear. The driver floor mat is stained a bit. I plan to get some fabric paint and paint it.

Since I like updating this thread for no reason.

22 years of MI rust...

VW with a trunk load of new parts.

I bought a new filler neck, gas tank, fuel pump, sender and new fuel lines. I need to find some new hoses for the filler neck.

There was a little but of rust above the tank. Today I wire wheeled a couple of rust spots and then used the POR15 prep cleaner. Then used POR15 to undercoat the entire underside of the car.

Usually cars rust out here bad. This one has some sheet metal rust that needs to be taken care of. Nothing serious. This car was one owner car that was garage kept in a heated garage for the past 22 years. Excellently cared for car.

I plan to take care of this car and keep it nice for years to come.

Having stainless steel  fuel lines made for this car. Custom bend and everything. That should be really cool.

Thanks, I have a couple of plans for it in the next few weeks. After I get it back from the shop it needs new tire rods and new mufflers.

I'd like to put on some 40 series flowmasters with factory tips.

If I have time, and available funds.I should have funds as  I now work 2 jobs. Time is another problem. Window tint.

I'm taking it to Kalamazoo which is about 3 hours away. It will be a good first road trip with it.

Today I wire wheeled a couple of rust spots and then used the POR15 prep cleaner. Then used POR15 to undercoat the entire underside of the car.

POR15, bad idea. I used that stuff on my truck and my car, and where I put it the metal rotted out. Both painted over the rust following the directions, and on new metal using the POR15 metal ready (also following the directions). I painted the bumpers of my truck with it, and it rusted and peeled off everywhere. POR15 is a joke, it's cost me so much time replacing sheet metal and money wasted on the product and replacement steel it's not even funny.
