Finally. been a shit show of weather and dirt for the last 5 weeks or so. Finally got a chance to take some decent pics of a clean(ish) Terrain lol.

had to start somewhere with pricing. still owe just about $15k hoping to get something relatively close.

So this is a new one, im used to stuff not working over the network.  So my PS3 is seeing my media drive (windows MP11) as per normal but none of the files that are in the library on the computer are showing up on the PS3.  I have dumped the folder out renamed it and filled it back up and still nothing.

Any ideas?
FWIW I just installed an external HDD but it worked fine (ps3 reading the files) for a couple weeks till yesterday. 
Not sure what changed, i would figure that the PS3 would stop connecting as it has before not stop seeing the files in the folder.

Well im hoping tomorrow i will get the OK to Finance a new computer, i was thinking of upgrading selectivly but with a computer based off the AMD 939 chipset my options just dont exist so i have decided to go balls out and get a whole new rig.

Im impatient and would rather finance and get it now and pay it off in 3-4 months than wait 3-4 months to get it, plus it gives me the option to take a year to pay it off i choose.

Gonna go with an Intel build this time around, new case and all. Figure what the hell. 1 year term and its still gonna be less than $175 a month if i choose to just make all the payments.

Heres the specs im pretty much set on, stock availability might make some changes but nothing too far off this set of goodies

CPU - Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz
Mobo - Asus P6T X58
Ram - Corsair XMS3-1333 PC3 10666 Core i7 Triple Channel 3x2gb (might get all 12gb now, a friend has the same setup as above and he is running 12gb stable without any issues)
Video Card - evga e-geforce GTS 260 896mb dual/dvi hdtv out (very slim chance i might get 2 now and go SLI i just don't have a need for it right now - but i am financing it... might just get it all at once on one bill)
PSU - Corsair 850W modular unit (again might bump to 1000w if i go SLI)
HDD - either a 1.5tb seagate or a 1Tb WD Caviar depending on available stock. (i haven't had any issues with seagate fwiw, i hear alot of horror stories but so far no issues for me)
Case - Antec 900 Ultimate Gamer with the 2 option fans as well. (might bump to the 900 II Ultimate Gamer Case for the extra fan controls and a tad more room for cooling passages)
OS - Windows7 Professional 64bit

Overkill for now but it leaves me sitting on a hell of a computer should i get the urge to get back into any sort of gaming.  All told it will run me around $1700 with the company discount i found out about (unless i add the 2nd card and bigger PSU and the better case). would have been about $1900 retail, about $2200 with the extras.

I was going to shop around and piece it together with a best price i can find kinda deal, but after deciding to try and finance i figured for the $150 i might have saved looking around i might as well just get it all in once place to avoid headaches.

Finally... been spending way to much time with my R/C stuff lately figured my time off this week would have to include one day with my baby.

Little bit of PS tweaking going on but just contrast and levels nothing crazy.  The front filler sure looks like its missing something now i might have to reinstall that thing one of these days.

Or anyone who knows how to use it.  I am trying to use the high contrast black and white stamp deal to get rid of everything but my car in a pic... it keeps grabbing parts of the car, can i modify the "line" after the fact? or should i be cookie cutting the car out instead of the background?

Whaddya think, should i keep the bowtie on there or pull it and put the Knights crest there instead.

Decided to put my camera to the test this afternoon. took almost 500 pics on the weekend and only one of the car. i dont know what my problem was

Also started messing around with PS a bit as well.  Just editing not modifying yet.
I think im gonna like that combo down the road.

Nothing from the other side, the sun wasn't cooperating.

So all of a sudden my 04 is making all sorts of weird noises, started off as a clunk that would appear with the slightest bit of steering wheel movement left or right (but only once, you could turn it all the way to bump stop both ways and it would only clunk once in each direction, right when you started moving the wheel).  Now tonight when i try to video the clunk all it does is squeal essentially, i got it pretty good on video for a change its uploading now. Not a loud belt type squeal but a quiet rubbing kinda squeal.  This all started today and at first i was thinking Intermediate shaft, but now with it changing from the thunk to a squeal im thinking it could be more rack related.  

Now the thunk was happening even at driving speed, change lanes and get a thud.  So it isnt just a, well your tires aren't moving noise.  

I called the dealership and enquired about how much to replace the Int. shaft, and they said probably around $400...    

Now for my dumb question... where the hell is the power steering reservoir on the L67.  Cant for the life of me see the cap anywhere.  I know on the 3400 on the 03 it was right up top and visible by the alternator, but i haz a blower in the way... its not under the snout is it?

I will get the video up right away and let me know what you guys think, this bugs me but unlike my ford i will spend the money to get shit fixed on this car

now that this forum is more about you 2 talking about photography imma bug you for some info and input.

i have currently a powershot A520  does everything i need a camera to do and i have taken some really good pictures with it.  but i want to make the move to DSLR.  everywhere i look the Nikon D40 is coming down in price. locally i have seen it at $420 with a lens.  What are your thoughts on this camera? anything else in that price range i should look at?

well not really but they do look big from a distance.  Got the bulk of my exhaust work done today, just need my downpipe and ubend delete, that will come next month or so.

2.5" mandrel bent magnaflow kit was actually from a GP GXP because magnaflow decided to kill the kit for the monte carlo/impala for some strange reason.  but it still fits, and we just cut one of the dual outlet tips from the GXP kit into 2 pcs so i could have just one on each side
