hi i have a 95 grand prix se, yesterday my transmission started acting weird. When it goes from 1st to 2nd it wont engauge unless i let off the gas then it will eventually go into second all other gears are fine and no power loss and when it does go in second it is fine. Also when turning on second gear start switch it still starts out in first. Please help out if you have any info

new trans? might as well drop an LQ1 in there too and get that sucker revving to 7k rpm! lol jk. sounds like something i have no idea about though.

Well hopefully someone has the knowledge to figure this out......

I was trouble shooting and pulled the tcc connector and cleaned it with twister and reset the ecm, the transmission shifted fine for a coulbe of hours then after sitting for about 3 it started up again some i believe its the computer because now it shifts fine when it wants to.

Hmm try the ECU, there pretty cheap, If u suspect the connector, try tweaking the pins in the connector on the trans harness alittle bit and it will force them to mate in the connector firmly
