so there isn't any way to keep the stock computer that mounts to the center console?  cuz the 94-96 ones mount next to the instrument cluster

94-96 is for the Grand Prix.

The 1994 Cutlass Supreme never got a DIS, and the 1995-1997 never got one as well when they redesigned the dash.  The Grand Prix got one on the drivers side above the headlight switch, and air vent.  The Cutlass Supreme didn't.

I am thinking about doing something custom, but right now, all of my plans are only half way thought through.  I think that when I pull it all apart again to do the transmission, then I might just start over completly, and rethink it ALL.

My OBD2 swap was SUCCESSFUL.  The car runs, and that is all I wanted.  I am disappointed that it does not drive, but that transmission say for too long.  Since I have to replace the transmission, I think I am going to rethink the way I want to go with this.  I have some options open to me that were not there when I started this swap.  I can in theory do ANYTHING now (within reason, that is).

I had thought about that at one time too, but unfortunanatly, the Aurora unit gets most of it signals from the BCM.  I will see if I can dig up my 1997 Aurora book and get the diagram to show you.
