Im trying to get an injector for an LG5 for a friend, but all the shit at napa is telling me its the same injector ( which it isnt ) And you cant put a stock N/A 3.1 injector in a Turbo 3.1 motor. If you guys have a part number off one of the injectors or anything, can you please post it here? I just need the part number, then I can get one from there.

Basically napa listed the T and V vins, but when I looked under the V vin code, as wonderful as they are, all the told me was MPI type injection. Now flow rates nothing. This is just so I know Im buying the right part.

Thanks!

Stock 3.1 is like a #19 the LG5 is a #22

and the stockers are multi-tec styles where as i have almost coverted everyone over on TGPforums to the bosch style injectors and everyone is really happy with them.

buy them per set here for awesome deals compared to stock OEM prices.

I am one of the converted, and damn proud of it!!   Easy install, makes the car run great.  If you buy the GM injector you're looking at at least $120 list price, just get the whole set and do it right the first time!

Thats the set that he wants to get. But for right now he just wants to get it running so 1 injector is all he needs. Other things really need to come first on the car before that injector set can happen. But anyway, Thanks for the info!

I've heard L36 injectors can be used as a cheap alternative.

I'm running the Ford yellow tops in my TGP as well, cheaper + better quality, so you can't go wrong with them. Yellow tops can be found in a lot of junkyard vehicles(look at the site provided above, it lists a lot of them) if your friend needs a cheap one to get by for now.

-Price Vs. GM multitecs is way better

-They are of better design from what i have seen and i find they take well to adjustment when tuning better than the stockers.

-The spray pattern is better vs. GM multitecs

-GM Multitecs are infamous to leaking
