just had the same issue with my 95. the 2/5 coil had carbon tracking on it that i did not see the first time. the plug wires where also arcing on each other. (they where factory fresh 130,000 miles ago)

that seems to have fixed it on mine

Hello,
Here's the latest...  I checked each of the injectors by applying 12v across the terminals..they all "clicked" and seemed to be functioning.  I then rigged up some plumbing and connected them to air pressure @ 40psi (the same as my fuel pump) and did the same test with 12v across the terminals.  During this test they all opened and sprayed (the tips seem clean) BUT the only did so sporadically...as in once every 3 to 5 times of applying voltage?
Don't they need to open & spray EVERY TIME they have power across the terminals?  Could these just be worn out and having trouble opening against pressure?  They do seem to be OEM...so they have 170K on them.  Does it make that much difference testing them with air & not fluids...I don't want to replace these expensive little suckers unless I have too!  I appreciate any insight you may be able to give me!

Thanks Gentlemen! (I use the term loosely!)

Update!  I figured it had to be the injectors, so I found a set of 6 on Ebay for $75.00!  Got em, put em in...they didnt work at ALL!!   Luckily the seller agreed to take them back...still a pain in the ass!  Went to the local "pull a part" found a set, 6 bucks apiece, cleaned em up, put em in...IT RUNS GREAT!!
Thanks for any and all your help!
