The engine is ready to go back into the car. A fuck-buddy of mine came over and helped me out with it. We got the old twin cam pulled (it has a weird oil level sensor on the side of the oil pan that the 1994 does not have). I was going to swap out the pans, but the 1995 pan had a crack in it, so I decided against using it.
We got the new timing cover on, but when I was installing the tensioner, the tensioner bracket broke. Good thing I had a spare. Once the bracket broke, the tensioner decided to break as well. Good thing I had a spare.
Anyways, the engine is 100% assembled, and tomorrow I am going to try to drop it in. If not tomorrow, then by this weekend.
I don't have any pics. My scanner is over at my moms house, and I have to use it to get pics out of my camera.
I still need to get some parts, like spark plugs, and wires, and EGR gaskets, but other than that, I am going to try to have this car running by this weekend.

I have ALMOST finished it. I had to stop for the night to take care of some family business, but I will find out probably tomorrow if it runs or not. First of all, I had someone move into my car while I was not looking, so I need to wait for them to vacate before I can finish. I had taken the radiator out a couple of days ago, and I TOAD climbed into one of the radiator hoses, and I need to get him out before I can reconnect it. I replace the spark plugs, and wires on this car. The plugs were OLD, and the wires were mismatched (old ones on back, and newer ones on front). I just put all new plugs and wires. These are the REAR 3 spark plugs, but the fronts were just as bad. And here you can see that I don't lack much to get it finished. If it was not for that family thing, and the toad, I would be done by now.

I guess that I should add that I don't feel that it is worth cleaning up until AFTER it runs. Nothing I hate more than a clean car just sitting there not working right.
After I get it fixed and roadworthy, THEN I will give it a good cleaning.

an ugly SOB like me will never be pretty.
Hell, the only thing that gets me laid at all is the fact I got a pierced dick. They are so curious about it that they want to see it, so quid pro quo, you know.....

it is not BOARD game. It is BORED game.
Monopoly. Never liked that game.
I am leaving to go work on the car in about 30 minutes, and I should know pretty soon if the car runs. There is no real reason why it should not, but I am a fish out of water when it comes to dealing with these POS twin cam engines. I would have much preferred for the cover to have not broken, but I was careful, so there is no reason why it should not work.

sure did. I got him out today. I turned the water hose on, and flushed him out. I did a vid of it, but Photobucket is not wanting to accept it now. I will try to upload it later.
I also got the car running, but I will do a whole new post for that later.
