OK Long story short, I popped my hood today and noticed my coolant was low. Pop the oil cap, and there is is, some white sludge shit starting to build up.

This is def NOT the time for this to happen. I am probably just going to have my mechanic fix it. One problem however. I already have 3400 heads and a 3400 LIM. I am going to see tomorrow if he will do the swap for me and how much it will run me since I really don't have a place to work on this in the winter and I can't have my car out of commission for who knows how long since I've never done any engine work such as this.

What EXACTLY is is needed for the 3400 swap that I would need to get/tell my mechanic about? I know that the coolant inlet is different on the LIM, and there isn't a spot for a temp sensor or something on the head. What exactly is needed to take care of these issues?

I was going to put a 3500 upper intake on and a bigger TB and port stuff but it doesn't look like I have time for that now. I will probably just get a stock 3400 upper intake and TB.

I would need a 3100 head gasket right? Then a 3400 LIM gasket and 3400 UIM gasket... 3400 exhaust mani gaskets... what else am I missing? I need exacts here, I can't leave him in the dark.

Thanks a BUNCH!

You are the guy from Collinsville IL, correct?

We need some more info. What make and model you have? 3.1 or 3100? I can tell you right now EGR is going to be the biggest issue.

Looks like your getting all your answers on 60degreeV6, so I'm going to save my breath.

How much is your mechanic charging you to do this? Like I said before I will do the job for you.
