hello, i have a 97 cutlass supreme 3100. i am considering doing the newer 3400 intake swap. can i just get the new intakes and they'll bolt right on without modifications? thanks.

for the most part, yes.

There might be some issues like with the EGR, and the coolant bypass pipe.  Those are the only 2 things that come to mind off hand.

Since yours is a 1997, you will not have the issue with the rocker arms.

The EGR issue will depend on the YEAR of the UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD.

The coolant bypass pipe will depend on the YEAR of the LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD.

There is 2 different styles for the EGR.  If you get a 1996-1999 3400 upper intake, or a 1999 3100 upper intake, then the EGR will bolt up just fine.

If you get the 2000+ 3100 or 3400 upper intake manifold, you will also need the EGR PIPE, as well as the adapter (and maybe even the EGR itself, but I have not confirmed that).
