might as well start a new thread instead of hijacking my own introduction thread lol

a few people have raised the idea of a topend swap to a 3500 upper... how difficult is this and what else would i need to get my hands on to do it. i am sure i could get my hands on one in a j/y around here.  also what kind of performace gains would i be looking at, is it really worth the hassle?

would something other than a 3500 upper work?

From what I remember hearing, you'd need an adapter plate to reuse your 3400's throttle body, and another adapter to reuse your fuel rail (the 3500 has the returnless rail) so the FP regulator clears the plenum (both available at the 60*V6 store.)

I'm sure others will chime in with more detailed info.  It's also something I'm interested in doing when the LIM gaskets blow on the Impaler, so I'll keep my ears perked...
