i just installed a new air filter (which was the same air filter that was in the car when i bought it 28k miles ago lol...it didn't look so great).  i also found a rag stuffed in the airbox!  DOH!  i changed the plugs too; they still looked pretty good despite having ~12k miles on them.  i was running Autolite 605s but i went back to the stock Autolite 606.  and last but not least i took the 180* thermostat out and put in a 195*.  HOPEFULLY my gas mileage improves some!

next up is new Delphi coilpacks from rockauto.com (my terminals show corrosion) and a new set of GM spark plug wires.

scanned again today and max KR was 1.29*.  a little more at other places but all under 1*.  i need to upload this to scandepot.  anyways, i'm not worried about a measly 1* KR.  the car definitely feels quicker after the plugs, t-stat and air filter.  warms up faster too smile
