It went out in the gtp.  Got the old one out really easy but the new assembly wont let me push it down far enough so i can get the snap ring to hold it in place.  Anybody have tips for this?? Thanks

does it have a rubber seal which is preventing you from pressing it in far enough?

put a little oil on the outside edge if thats the case.

Ya know it could be that seal.  I'll give that a try.

Josh I got a pump from napa, I think it said carter on the top.  Wish I could have got a 255 pump or something but with both cars down I sure can't wait for it to get shipped.

Well got it in finally, ended up using the old seal.  I oiled the new one and still couldn't press it down far enough.  Runs great now anyway.
