man i have no idea when it comes to choosing a cam.  i've never even replaced one (not for a pushrod engine anyway).  how does that compare to say, the ZZP XP HOT cam?  or the ZZP VS cam?

when i was looking at getting a cam, it was somewhere between the XP and the VS IIRC.

its an older cam, so it wont be on the high-hp list.  http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.asp?m=1550443

VS:
      206/216 at .050"
Intake Lift .320" (.512" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
Exhaust Lift .317" (.507" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
     115 LSA

XP:
          212?/224? at .050"
Intake Lift .325" (.520" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
Exhaust Lift .335" (.536" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
          116 Lobe Separation

HL:
         206*/218* .512/.528 115 N/

that sounds about what i'm looking for.  it looks like it's the same thing as the Stage 2 Comp Cams Xtreme Energy cam that PFYC.com sells?  i was a little worried the XP cam might be a little too wild but the VS might be too mild.  i want it to idle nice but still support the #s i want.  i'll have to send Shane a PM.  thanks man.

yeah, def looks like the same cam.  it is a comp cam, so its entirely possible.   he probably wont see a pm on here for a while.  havent seen him on 60* for a while either.  id try to call him.  he posted it for sale in the rm section on cgp in the f/s sticky and his number is on the post, too.
