I'm finishing a head job on a Venture, don't know where else to place this, but it applies to all 3400 endowed engines, sorry if its in the wrong section.

Is the wire routing the same on the 3400 as it is on the 3.1L LH0 or LG5?  1-3-5 in the back and 2-4-6 on the front?  How about coils?

1-4 6-3 2-5 from left to right, is that correct?  Almost done with this thing just want to be sure it goes back together right, someone took apart the plenum and very top of the engine so I am clueless as to how the rest of it goes back together, but all I have to do is reconnect the harness and then install the plenum and intake tubing, as well as the vac lines.

TIA guys!

i would say yes....as i helped  a friend do a 3400 head and intake swap...and everything went back the same....yeah..i know he still kept his stock ign system...but a 3400 is basically the same as a 3100....

I don't see why it would change.

Thanks guys!  I'll see if I can get this running on Thursday, its throwing an EGR code so I'm heading to the j/y, $160 is the best price I can get on a new one.

IDK if its the digital, but I can take a pic of it tomorrow and post it, if its the same, I'll most likely take it as long as you guarantee it works properly, how much we talking?? better yet if you post a pic of yours I can tell if its the one I need.

nope thats not the one.

I'll be heading to the j/y today or tomorrow probably. Thanks for the offer though!

EDIT:  I don't think thats the one, unless you removed something from it?  I'm sure the flanges are the same, and probably damn close in dimensions, but mine has a cover and does not have those three separate "towers" I guess I will call them.  I'll get a better look at mine tomorrow and let you know.

IIRC, 95 was the last year they used the "Digital" EGR (pictured above.)  96-99 used the "Linear" EGR (it had a single, larger cylinder instead of 3 small ones.)
