i actually REALLY like the Terrains! We've had a handful come into the dealer already for recalls...guess that's just what happens on the first year model...
I've replaced 2 radios, 2 seat lumbar adjusters (the bracketry/slides are plastic...so if you're over 140 lbs...you'll be getting one replaced) a headlight assembly...reprogrammed a transmission, and adjusted a couple liftgates that were rattling...
First one i saw i opened the hood and saw an ecotec....OH NOES! Then realized they came with a V6 and wantd one..haha...i dig it though man! I'd have to get the chrome grill and put some 20" chromes on it and cruise the fucker :-)

Im deciding which chrome/billet grille i want, thats on the list. i just about pulled the plug on the 3.0V6 over the I4 but i don't tow and that was the only difference. I drove both and short of a bit of off the line the I4 2.4L Ecotec is just as good as the V6 for booting around. Hell at 185hp it has more HP than the 3400 V6 in my old 03 LS haha.
Haven't run across any "warranty/tsb" related issues yet. But im sure that will happen eventually. lol. Mileage is still coming down or up depending on how you look at it. i have about 2500 km on the Terrain and im averaging 27.5 mpg. Not gonna hear me complaining about that compared to the monte haha.

i have the ecotec. mileage definitely hurts a bit as i drive it and try to make up for the ~100hp loss from the monte but it is climbing constantly the more i drive it, and realize that this thing is NOT fast off the line haha. Funny you mention the dealer decal, i told my uncle he could provide a plate frame, but no decals. the shop put both on, what they didn't put on was the big Western GM window decal (being from Edmonton as well Clinton you should know the ones im talking about haha) And my uncle apologized for the decal above the Terrain logo. I just haven't gotten around to taking it off. Heres an interior pic. never been big on taking interior shots. i'll get a few tomorrow.

Post Merge: August 17, 2010, 08:20:02 PM ran your vin, seems you're good of recalls so far!

I'd just go with a factory option grille! I love the way they did the chrome..just the faces of the front of it, and all around it is black

Yeah the chrome pkg grille is pretty sweet, havent found one yet anywhere. There is a set of billet inserts on egay that replicate that look. might go that way.

I guess I'm the only one that hates those trucks? Then again, I'm not a fan of luxury SUVs to begin with.
Whatever happened to vehicles with front bumpers anyway? Fuck aerodynamics!
