I have project motor home with a 98 Buick Regal 3.8L super/ch. conversion from a 2.2L 4cyl. and we lost the fuel pump lock ring!!!?? Easy dealer item, right?? Not!!! My tank is that black poly plastic and is mostly a rectangular boxy shape with bendable tabs that my helper bent back to remove the fuel pump assembly thinking we were not going to use the tank but,, a change of plan,, and here we are. We have tryed to get a simple lock ring from our local dealer so we can finish the tank installation and hopfully start this up but they seen to have very poor parts pictures and they can not seem find the right part. Bottom line. Does any one know the part number?? Or can someone send a picture of one?? This one of the last runnabality parts I need to get this ready to start.

That ring looks like the one on our 99 parkavenue conversion tank which is metal and uses different sealing gasket. I must admit I did not give it more than a cursory look but I will go back and try to bend the tabs back and see if that ring will work. Thank you for your input!!
