hey guys my name is corey. i bought a 2003 grand prix se a year or so ago. since i am making payments on it until the end of time, i have been avoiding doing any mods to it. i have been making some changes to it latley including putting on new rims and now i want to go nuts. i looked all over and havent see many people talking about the mods for the 3.1. infact i know more things to do to that motor than i have read.

I also race r/c cars when i am not at my full time job ( asst manager in an auto parts store). also i work in an r/c shop aswell as doing r/c body painting for fun. but now its time to play a little more with full scale stuff. can't wait to meet everyone and have some fun.
thanx

Welcome!

I had a 3100 in my old car, 1995 GP SE.  It was the first (160hp) version.  Just make sure you keep an eye on the oil and coolant, those damn intake gaskets are a bitch!

As for information, check out http://www.60degreev6.com it's the most comprehensive site on the 2.8/3.1/3100/3400 and other GM V6 engines.

If you really want performance, you are probably best to do an engine swap of some sort- my dream would be the 3.6DOHC!  Other than that I would just do the rims and tint and enjoy the ride.  cool

Welcome!
