Hey all! I'm just getting started with a W -body of my own. I'm an old guy, and have owned many cars and 1 truck. I'm very familiar with the 3100 SFI engines, but my 91 3.1 Euro Lumina has the MPFI engine. I'm learning the differences thru the 60degreev6 site. I've always love this body style and know the lady that bought it new. I've even serviced it for her a few times. I found out she had bought a new car and went to see her about this Lumina and to ask if she would sell it. She remembered that I had liked the car when I serviced it and she made me an offer I couldn't refuse....$200.00! It does need some work, but nothing I can't handle. It's a 2 door and has some rust on the 1/4 panels in front of the rear wheel well. I'll be looking for some repair panels to replace the rusted one's. The fuel pump is not working, but the engine will run if I use a spray bottle of gasoline to keep it running. Does anyone know if the fuel tank from a 96 lumina, or just the fuel pump, will fit my 91?...and the exhaust manifolds from the 96...would they fit the 91? This may not be the right place to ask these questions, but I'll learn. I'm looking forward to getting to know this site and the members. I'll be talking at ya! HB

I just bought it today and it's been sitting outside for a few months. It's not very pretty right now. I clean it up some and then I'll get some pics up asap.

Welcome to the forum, good to see another 1st gen Lumina owner.
When I drag the piece of crap from my parent's house to mine, I'll be stripping a 4 dr if you need any parts. I just bought it for the engine/transmission to have as a spare.

He'll need both arms. One to work on the car with, and the other to sell on the black market to pay for the cost of maintenance on a Lumina.

Thanks guys, I think I'll keep my appendages, I enjoy a challenge! Besides, I probably won't have it very long. My 18 year old son recently totaled his mom's 2000 Taurus. I bought it for her on Jan 5th and he flipped it 1 week later. We're very lucky, he didn't get a scratch. When he got home he told us he thought it was exciting! I worry about that boy! I may have some parts for sale soon. I hope not.

That's probably why I don't have any kids

I think sleeping and driving was what he was trying to do. I'd beat his ass if I thought it would do any good. I think he likes pain.....more to worry about.

I've fell asleep at the wheel one too many times in my life. Destroyed the driver's front corner of my old Beretta GT and did about 9 grand in damage to the state truck I was driving. Welcome to the forum by the way. Now I'm not the old guy here
