at least some of you would know me from either the w-body or 60V6 forums though i do try and help out on TGO and the moates and tunerpro forums.
I'm 20, married, have a fairly good knowledge of both 60* motors and w-bodies in general, don't really care for any version of the 3800, am an avid supporter of OBD1, engineered the OBD1.5 to OBD1 conversion, do my own tuning, LOVE the Monte Carlo, I'm 5'6" on a good day and i REALLY need to get back down to ~135lbs...
HI!

yeah i realized i was no help there whatsoever and the problems my car has been regularly having are ones i can take care of without help. lol (water pump, power steering line, and a FEW new heater hoses.) every week another problem. lol oh, and my amp was soaked somehow... had to pull it out and dry it. so while it was out i pulled my subs out of the box (bought premade) and found the wires inside were 18gauge. (not cool for 800W subs) so i bumped it up to 10. and also noticed the crimp on slide connectors were crimpped onto the insulation of the wires. lol so now my bass is pretty good again. car is runnin good again., and im waiting for a warm day to fix the power steering line. lol
this place is pretty relaxed. i like it here.

damn... 18 guage for ~800W? i went overkill with my 14 guage running from a 200Watt peak amp to a pair of 6X9s...
i also rewired my ~250Watt visonik box/sub/amp combo with 14 guage... it had 18 or 20 guage from the factory and was WEAK. after soldering in new wiring, it was stronger... then i sold it a week later for $40...

yeah... deer in late may/early june, jumped from the ditch on the right side of the road when i was going ~50MPH, got down to ~35, then the deer turned around and wrinkled the passenger fender and door... shouldn't cost too much to replace, but (and i should have added this in the first post) being unemployed kills that for now... as for the conversion: i have it perfected for the L/N/W cars with 3100s originally, have a LONG thread about it on 60V6, haven't needed to play with the 94-95 3.4 cars though, since they are actually tuneable... EDIT: Welcome This site has WAY better smilies. haven't looked through them myself, but i did read there were a LOT. and what's with the 'off limits' messages? do i have to hit a certain post count? or a certain reputation number?
