New to the forums and have a '95 Olds Cutlass Supreme SL 2 door. Look forward to reading the wealth of info on this site. Am presently replacing the turn signal switch and found a post that led me here.

I already have all the tools needed for this job. A little intimidated about disabling the air bag system. I appreciate the pics and descriptions of this writeup. Much better than the deluxe chiltons manual I have. Just hope everything works when I get it back together. Did you replace your switch yourself?

i did, however i do not have airbags, and i didnt get to the plug in the ignition switch (im kinda lazy) so i just pulled those two wires out of the plugs and swapped them over, so those two wires (and the plug on the other end of them) never got changed.
i also went to the junk yard for my switch so i could practice on a car that wasnt mine. pulled three out, pocketed all of them and went home. lol two were like new and one i dont even know why i took.

BTW i didnt write the write up, or any of them here for that matter. lol all i do is crack out the occasional one liner and drop a decent idea from time to time. sometimes i even sound like i know what im talking about.

Pull the air bag fuse and disconnect the battery and you're golden. Welcome.
