This is most likely a "dumb" Question. Having said that, what is a HUD?

HUD = heads up display.

It is a module that sits on the top of the dash and projects the vehicle speed as well as other information into the windshield n

when I get home I will post some pics.

The HUD for the flat dash Cutlass Supreme lists SPEEDOMETER, RIGHT TURN, LEFT TURN, HAZARDS, CHECK GAUGES, LOW FUEL, and HIGH BEAMS.

Thanks for the info,That dashboard is "Cherry". Must be a really nice car.

That dashboard didn't start out that way.  It was doing the same thing yours was, and I had to FIX it.
