Not really w-body related but I got carbon fibre thread heated seating elements installed today and man are they amazing.  Got them put in my Cobalt and they heat up HOT in about 30 seconds.  Weirdest heating elements I have ever seen.  You can cut them to fit and they keep working, there is no metal wiring, nothing.....  I saved a piece of the material if you want to see what the stuff looks like.

Paid 700 bucks for the install and parts, took about 4 hours to rip the seats apart and run the wiring properly and methodically.  Was a top notch product and a top notch install that was done.

Heated seats FTW!!!!!!!

I'd love to see what this stuff looks like.  I've never heard of it before.

Picture of the element..  The lines you see are actually carbon fibre thread, not metal...

No kidding, even the heated seats in the GTP can get hot enough to cause burns. I've always wanted to see if i can heat up a muffin or something on those things... lol
