Hey guys,
I just picked up a headliner for my Cutlass at the junkyard this weekend. It's very dark compared to the original interior color, so I want to glue on the original "82D" Medium Gray Cloth over the existing color - in order for everything to match.
Does anyone know where I can get the original cloth, besides an upholstery shop?

eBay maybe, but I'd go to an upholstery shop. You could get lucky and check Wal-Mart or K-Mart, they have some stuff

I'd happily pay someone $50 to re-do the headliner in my S10.

it cost me 30$ for just the headliner material. You really wont find the original color, i dont even think the dealer supplys any headliner stuff. I found the EXACT maroon color for my white cars red interior and snatched it up in some random fabric shop

one thing to keep in mind is the headliner ur trying to match is how old? odds are there is going to be a little color fade/change. for an S10 headliner, it would probably be less than $50. lol but we do all kinds of stupid jobs for them for cheap to free

Thanks for the feedback guys. You know, I'd totally drive out to Edmonton if it didn't eat up all my vacation time, gas, and projected headliner cost savings.
So what do you guys do up in Edmonton, besides shiver and play hockey all day?
The headliner is about 21 years old and its saging like a parachute from the roof. I'm throwing the old board out and putting a newer one in from a 1994 Cutlass. I've checked and both look interchangable. I just need to spray on the adhesive on and affix the right color fabric.
I've got a light gray headliner color, I haven't determined if this is a blessing or a curse yet. There could be 100 variations of light gray.

I envy that you get the chance to hike and hang out with your daughter. I don't have any kids yet (one day). My girlfriend really loves to go to group hangouts, baby showers, weddings, trips, and oftentimes that means I'm going too.
My "Moments of Zen" are when I get the chance to find parts for or work on the Cutlass. I've been making lists like a criminal lately.
Oh, did I mention, the car is 3,000 miles away?! I'll start posting pics of the restoration when I get started in late June!

I know Stock Interiors carries aftermarket Headliner material and the headliner glue but I only have experience with their carpets not their headliner kits. And $50 is a screaming deal to have a headliner re-done. So what do you guys do up in Edmonton, besides shiver and play hockey all day?
