I'm just curious to know who here likes (or dislikes) the use of interior dressings such as Armorall, Meguires, etc.
As a detailer (specifically a used car detailer now) I see all sorts of cars. I clean up cars that come from the auction, and most of them have already been detailed and greasy dressing of some sort applied.
I don't use any dressing on my own vehicles - I use
Aerospace 303 protectant on my Impala and wife's Focus. It leaves a low gloss and HELPS repel dust. I don't really consider this stuff a "dressing".
On the vehicles at work I use a product called "Fadeaway" from my supplier BOCAR, which is a thin white waterbased dressing that smells like coconut. I'm sure this is a generic type of dressing because Carbrite (who I no longer do business with) had a very similar product. I like to use it on GM, Ford, and other cheap plastic interiors

to brighten them up a bit. I also use this product on engine bays because it makes the plastic and rubber look like new (not just greasy) I also started using it on tires (before winter.. now I use nothing).
