I bought these door panels from easytoremember and took them to a custom sound/upholstry shop and had them reworked completely. Several hundred dollars later this is what I got. Suede ftw [8D]

THAT LOOKS NICE ,IS THE COMPONETS COMPLITLY SEAL (U DIDT SHOW A PIC OF THE BACK.I JUST DON'T LIKE THE TWEETER POSITION,USUALLY I FOUND THAT YOU PLACE TWEERES IN THE DOORS THEY WORK BETTER UP HIGHER ON THE DOOR OR THE PILLARS CAUSE HIGHER FREQUENCIES GET CANCEL OUT VERY EASY.BUT,I HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU.

Mounting them on the very top of the door panel (mirror location) sucks, at least on teh driver's door ( I know).   As long as they are angled correctly they will sound good.

you are correct and that was my point ,tweeters in the door panels are hard to place correct ,but i found that they sound better placed above the midbass and other obstruction .because ,higher frequencies are easy to cancel out.

trunk space thats allways my problem with my conv.i am putting all my stuff back in the car and i want a simple st-up and its tough.and that was the main reason for going simple ,to maintain more room in the trunk, but ain't going to work.
