Nice!  I put some 2 door GP buckets in my 92 sedan and I had to clean the shit out of them.  I used a carpet cleaner/water solution and a wet dry vacuum.  Took a few times going over each seat, but they turned out nicely.

ooo man... find some one with a steam cleaner... my g/f owns one and it made a BIG difference... it takes out everything!

i think that is what i'm going to end up doing.  this morning i looked at the passenger seat i cleaned (after it was completely dry), and while the actual stains are gone, most of the dirt is still there.  it doesn't look quite as blue as it did last night and it's showing a slight yellowish color.  i guess that's just 16 years of dirt buildup in the fabric and i think only a steam cleaner could get that out.

still though, the Tuff Stuff worked GREAT for the stains and as a pre-cleaner.

looks pretty good.  youre lucky you dont have the recaro's in my cobalt.  they stain so easily and if you try to clean them, you can see the spot you cleaned.  guess i gotta break out the bissel or whatever we have.  my cousin has a regular ion and the seats stain really easily in that too, but the cloth is really comfy.

yeah i really like cloth better than leather.  i'd rather have cloth in my Regal!  but then again, the leather seats in my old GTS owned all.

they have cloth inserts in the middle (thats the part that stains) i really like that since its not too cold/hot in winter/summer.  i do prefer leather since its easier to clean, but you slide around too much and you have to care for it more so it doesnt crack, but zaino leather cleaner and conditioner works wonders (the seats in my  riv dont have any cracks in them).  i was thinking about switching to leather in my gp, but id rather have the cloth since i want to start autocrossing it.

to stay on topic, i switched to the dupont spray stuff and it works pretty good.  here's a good tip, though.  brake cleaner (non-chlorinated, of course) works GREAT on stains ( make sure you test an area first though)

I know all about stains and new GM seats.  The worst are the Malibus and the SV6s.  They changed the seats in the SV6 halfway through 2006 (same seats as the Uplander) which are now just cloth in the center... they are much better than the damn old ones.  Water stains them!!  The only way to clean them is to get the whole area or seat wet! willynilly
