Ok, so i got the job pretty half assed done in my Lumi the same way i did in my regal lol Larry the Lumi and Reggi the Regal. lol   yeah i smoked a little bong.
but anyhow...  my method.
i take off the passenger side lower dash cover, take off the 'electrical convenience center' with two 5.5 mm bolts (screws?) and then i pull back the carpet, cut the tie holding the wiring harness under the blower motor and take the three 7mm bolts out of that, after unplugging it! it comes out pretty easy if you have the carpet pulled back.
now... the tricky part. ive yet to find anything that works so well as a piece of carpet about 9" square. (3"x3") i soak it in degreaser, just spray the shit out of it. and i reach down the hole the removed blower motor opened up, and start to scrub down the condenser. i scrub in an up and down motion and i get some pretty huge chunks of black greasy nasty shit. next up comes a face sheild a rolled up sleeve and an air blower. i blow the crap out of the hole and into the condenser as best i can. then, i spray windex in there and scrub it down with a toothbrush one more time. and its hard to get the can of windex in there.... but it works pretty good i think. one more quick blow job and i put all of it back together.

i tried taking the condenser out, but it seemed to difficult. and now my heat is actually blowing out, not just heating up the back of my radio!

That's actually the evaporator coil.  The condenser is the coil that resides behind the radiator.

I used to have to do this to my old Crapalier semi-annually.  The blower motor was under the hood, so it was a bit easier (if not less messy) to clean the evaporator out.  I'd spray the coil down with carb cleaner, then go over it with a toothbrush best I could.  After that, I'd flush it out with a garden hose (the water would run out the evaporator drain and I wouldn't get a drop of it in the interior) followed by a little compressed air to dry the water and get rid of the carb cleaner smell.

I should do this to my cars. With both of them, there is so little air flow that my car on high puts out less air then my girlfriend's car on low.
