I know that electronic climate control became an obsolete option after the 2000 model year for the grand prix, they used the same that was in the 1995 Cutlass Supreme and Delta 88, etc.

Now, the next question is, does the car of 2001-2003 have the outdoor temperature anywhere as an option, I couldn't find it on the DIC.

Yep the only place was in the center rearview mirror.  I've only seen them on the OnStar mirrors, but I'm not sure.
