Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone here might be able to tell me, aboot a year ago I was at a rim shop, called Rim Doctor, they mainly repair rims, anyhow, they had a set of Grand Prix torque stars that were brand new looking with Goodyear Eagle RSA's mounted on them, they wanted $1200, so I felt good paying $410 US for the same thing with the polished finish, plus white rims would look completely retarded on my car.
For those who don't know, one of my greatest car regrets is not getting key-coloured rims for my white Cutlass Supreme (painting my rims white), the one in the signature, I love white rims on a white car, if the windows are tinted you get a car that's with few exceptions black & white, and it looks amazing in my mind.
So long story short, were white torque stars a factory option or is this something that someone did on their own? I've seen key-coloured white five-stars on the 2nd Gen. Grand Prix's just never, ever seen the Torque stars.
