I need to replace the light bulbs on the steering wheel controls.
I asume you remove the screws that hold on the center air bag
section and then you have access to them. thought I'd check here
before I go at it in case theres more to it than that.

You have to disassemble the steering wheel. You'll need some mighty small sockets too.
