Just had the alt. done and new supports put under the front and rear bumpers. Passenger side is dented. Drivers side is straight.

How's the timing belt?
Have you heard it run? I like the wheels, lol
..I'd say its worth 400.. You could make that back minimum in parts Im sure.. If it's a 5 speed, DEFINITELY worth it..

It's an auto. Haven't checked the timing belt yet. I would replace it anyway. The battery is gonna be charged up this week sometime so I can start it. Red interior FTL!
About the wheels...Right after having the alt. done his daughter decided she didn't want it. She wanted a MC Z34. So, he bought her one. Shortly after she had a blowout on the MC so they swapped wheels. The MC is now sitting beside the Lumina not being driven either.

if it runs and drives and stops safely, $400 is ok. with that big dent in the quarter itll never be more than a beater.
if it needs any work to run, drive, and stop safely then $400 is too much

I would probably get the dent fixed. Might even go see the guy accross the street. He does the paintless dent removal.

Shit, you could get half that back if you sold the wheels! We're all sure the car's worth more than $400, so I guess paying that much depends on how desperate the dude is to get rid of it.
It looks like it's been sitting for a while, ask him if he'll take 3 for it...

It looks like it's been sitting for a while, ask him if he'll take 3 for it... He's not going to go lower on the price. He wants to get back what he just put into it for repairs. It's only been sitting 2 months or so. Hell, my CS sat for 6 months before I bought it.

Oh and the front end is all one color. It's the angle I took the pic from. And it's a camera phone.

if it needs any work to run, drive, and stop safely then $400 is too much i'd go for $400 but i agree with Pat for the most part. you could part it out and make a small profit....probably a very small profit though. if it needs work/$$$ to run/drive/brake safely than i wouldn't pay over $400 due to the big dent though. does it have rust? if it was rust free (or at least very close to rust free) and had a CLEAN interior i would go pick it up ASAP. what year is it?

Not even sure on the year. The car is like 30 yards from my back door. When I take the kid down to the bus stop in the morning I'm gonna hopefully look it over.
As for rust it has a little over the rear passenger side wheel well. Doesn't look like more than a little surface rust.

yeah that's a tough one. i wouldn't pay more than $400 with that big dent being there, but on the other hand it could be well worth it. what would be your plans for the car?

these cars don't surface rust. they asplode with rust from the inside out. so by the time you see it, you're SOL and it's way worse than it looks.

Don't know if I want to do a timing belt and fix the dent and sell it or keep it. The wife wants it for her car. Which would mean I get the Saturn and I can park the CS to start fixing it up.
