So today I was taking the GP coupe out for a wash, the roads are dry and I was planning on putting the car up for the winter.

So, guess what happens, I'm at the car wash, roll down my window to put in the code, the window drops out of the track when I go to put it back up!

Geez!

My brother in-law and I managed to get it up in about 90 seconds, by pressing the palms of our hands together (with the window inbetween) and pushing the window towards the back of the car.

Only one side was off the rail, the other side was moving, but the thing was going up diagonally.

To make things worse the garage where "AMY" was supposed to be wasn't long enough to accomodate, such a sexy car.  So it's back to plan 'A' again, moving the car into the house that I'm moving into next summer.

The Generation I 3.1L V6 was an astonishing feat of engineering as it had the best of both worlds:

The power of a 4-cylinder, yet the fuel economy of a V8.

if only I could drive cars into the house too!

window dropping happens.   how to fix?     the window tracks have loosed with ages.   image the track is a C   the C is expanded, youmust remove the doorpanel and pinch the track tighter so that it does not loose it's grip.   this almost always happens to the front track.     good luck!
