Well so since the the 3.1L i put in this thing and the one storm we had come in decided to flood everything ruined the trans water had actually got in it so heres a few previews of whats been happening with this car. dont mind the windshield thats getting replaced soon

http://img171.imageshack.us/i/20110425153810.jpg/

the old 3.1L and the 4T60 coming out

http://img600.imageshack.us/i/20110429132729.jpg/

the cars new engine, a 94' 3.4L DOHC with a 94' 4T60-E

http://img59.imageshack.us/i/20110503124902.jpg/

and heres a nice little interior pic, the car was previously converted over to the CS dash anywho so i ran deeper with it since i had to rewire the entire car yet once again.

Pretty much im looking at a 92' GP thats wired up as a dreaded 94' with full 94' CS dash and door panels with digital climate control.

Im the opposite on that one, i highly dislike the older GP dashes. the weird part is i didnt care to much for the 94 dash either but it grew ALOT on me i think it suits the GP body pretty nicely.

You're completely right. I almost purchased a REAL Lumina 9C1 because I was going to swap the drivetrain into my 9C3/Euro until I found out it had a spun bearing... I think the OBDII 3800 & 4T60-E would me more work than what xLeGeNDx is doing, but I wanted to because I have some stupid obsession.

So yes, you're right - but you're wrong all at the same time; because you got rid of your Z34.

I like the 94 CS dash. Everything is placed in a good spot. I really can't complain.

Looks like you have one good project going on. Good luck.

The Orca gave its life for this?  confused2

lol we didn't have much of a choice on that one, the damage to the windshield was actually quoted for 3 times what the car was worth so a replacement vert windshield was out of the question, not to mention the top problem we was having with it as well. and to top that off the car was also wrecked on the passenger side from closer inspection the subframe was actually TWISTED,  so we decided to peice two cars into one on that note.

Damn, that looks like a bunch of work...

The work isn't to bad, basically strip both interiors out to a shell junk everything from the green car, run the new wiring, put dash in and ect, but in my case the engine went in before the interior was fully touched, basically the only thing original left on this car is the brake system which had ABS from the factory, the wheels and the body and frame everything else has been replaced.

lol well, hey, as long as youre happy with your car, right? right?? am i fucking right????

That is the idea at least but this is pretty much a full proof swap that we know is a good drive train on it, this car has been the biggest pain in my ass ever, the original engine was hydro-locked, the 1st engine that i put into it was from the black car which threw a head gasket, and started to seize, and the last one i put in before the 3.4L DOHC was another 3.1L where we had a flood and wiped out the trans and the engine had major issues on its own. hopefully after this its done and over.

So far the only thing im running into is the rear tail light lighting since the CS annd the GP tail lights are quite a bit different, when i press the brake pedal the turn signals light up along with the brake lights, anyone might know what would be the cause of that?

The previous owner had it looked at at a collision shop and I took measurements myself, it wasn't twisted from that wreck that happened before I got it. She took out a stone mailbox.

So how did all your windshields get broken out? What's to come of the gold car?

The GP has separate turn signals from the brake lights whereas the Cutlass has turn and brake lights together. It might be as easy as swapping out the turn signal switch and/or brake light switch, I'll have to look in my service manuals. And again, it might not.

Ahh that would explain it then, lets just say Tree branch, the tree that we had the green car and the vert under busted a few branches off and right onto the windshields both the green car and the vert was under there that day, the only difference is i HAVE a spare windshield for the GP that i cut out of the black car.

As for the gold car from my understanding he's wanting to custom do a FWD caddy 4.9 V8 into it.

EDITED: thanks for pointing in the right direction Jay, for future reference if anyone ever decides to use a CS harness in a GP, (for my example 94') make sure u cut the white wire on the C202 in slot A6 thats the wire that ties the turn signals to to the brake lights when the pedal is pressed cut that wire and u get the normal GP tail light setup

Use a 2 to 3 converter from a trailer shop, separates signals from brake lights reverse from what a normal tail light 3 to 2 converter would do for a trailer. Mostly used when ppl wanna tow new or imported cars with older motorhomes

Good to know. I am planning to run amber turn signals on my GMC.
