So the first I kinda noticed b 4 but didn't really care about it, it always feels like heat is on in the car, only when the engine gets nice n hot though, and second one When I was backing up to park a couple times now I hear a kind of clunk when I hit the brakes.... Any ideas?

Tighten the calipers, and buy a new car.

Andrei you never burn bridges, and you build as many as you can in your life, because one day you'll want to get somewhere and you'll have a bridge to cross to get there

sounds like a reason to upgrade to me... are there any bolt on upgraded brake calipers? or anything that would take a reasonable amount of work (as opposed to swapping out the sub frame) to get say, 2nd gen brakes on it? Post Merge: September 27, 2010, 10:09:08 PM
well, sounds like either way, im taking off the front wheels tomorrow. ill post some pics, just cuz i love taking them.

Temp slider can be on hot or cold, and it cools down if I turn the vents on full blast cold (not ac) but for the first couple mins its like the heat is on full tilt

My Toyota does that heat thing, so I know how annoying it is in the summer.
And for your caliper noise, my Lumina has been doing that for over a year. I've replaced the pads, replaced the rotors, removed the calipers and cehcekd every nut, blot, clip, fastener and it still makes the goddamn noise.

i know one of my cooling fans isnt working, so i swapped it with the one that comes on with the AC (so if i were to turn on the AC the secondary fan wouldnt function) so i just dont use it. lol could this be why my car is getting hot inside?

I have gotten my cars brakes to stop squealing and clunking by using moly grease on the back of the pads, on all the contact points.
