Was going to post this in the electrical section but I thought it would get lost amongst all the stereo questions....

Ok this is odd...........bought a new t/s switch to replace the one in my 94 GP  (Airtex 1S4607) and the connector end is totally different from the OEM plug. (see pics) Different wire colors, locations and even the connector itself is a bit different. The GREY plug is the OEM plug & the black plug is the Airtex part.

Now I certainly don't wanna tear apart the column without knowing the new switch is correct....who would? Went to NAPA and they were no help and even traded emails with Rockauto where I got the switch and it was pointless too. I've compared different brand switches too and the connector ends all look the same.

Do I have some oddball switch? HELP! I need turn signals !

I've never replaced my turn signal switch before, but it looks like that won't even plug in.
