compression is not the problem. Cylinders filled up with water after the car was parked.
To fix this engine, we need to pull the heads, hone the cylinders, etc.
We can get my STE running (which it already is) a lot quicker than doing all that work. We also don't have a covered area to do that kinda work in (kinda needed in this area).

lol, I don't make random claims of an engine just blowing up and not working, however, I don't always give details as to why I make that claim.
Call it a personality flaw.

friend of mine found a new engine for his dodge shadow in the junkyard. It was a freshly rebuild and didn't look like it had ever been started. He bought it for like $100 and when pulling it out discovered why it was there. It could NOT start (the reason they junked the car was it was rebuilt and didn't turn). Turns out the flex plate had cracked and was seized against the engine or transmission.
Ever since then, I try to thoroughly diagnose before I junk.

I won't need my engine hoist back as quick as i thought as the deal fell through so whenever you're finished. No big hurry.
I've still got some CS convertible parts and stuff here for you though.

yeah....
The engine is gone, I pulled intakes off today and there was coolant in the combustion chambers mainly just the rears though the very back cylinder was completely full, im guessing the last time it got drove it popped the rear head gasket and coolant leaked into the chambers.
It MIGHT be savable but i think a 3100 might make a nice project heh

yes I am gay, and I will never desecrate one of my cars with a buick boat anchor for an engine. Especially knowing that an N/A 3100 can be built up to tear a 3800 SC to pieces. My gold cars 3100 would eat a 3800 alive.

Meh imma pass on the flaming BBQ, and besides that swap is a bit more of a resource/money drain then a simple 3100 swap would be
